MultiversX And Helios Staking Launch Helios Connect For Unified Cross-Chain Identity

MultiversX and Helios Staking launched Helios Connect, an open-source dApp that provides unified cross-chain identity management. Developed during the Helios Collabathon, the project brought together leading Web3 builders and received support from industry partners like Hatom and Injective Foundation, aiming to solve user fragmentation across multiple blockchains.

MultiversX, a leader in blockchain scalability, has partnered with Helios Staking to launch Helios Connect, an innovative decentralised application (dApp) designed to address a major challenge in the Web3 space: user identity fragmentation across multiple blockchains. As part of a collaborative event, the Helios Collabathon, this initiative has garnered support from major Web3 stakeholders, including Hatom, XOXNO, and the Injective Foundation.

The Helios Collabathon brought together 14 skilled Web3 developers who dedicated over 384 hours to creating Helios Connect. This event showcased a growing trend in the blockchain industry, where collaboration between different teams and foundations is becoming more important than competition. MultiversX’s backing of the event reflects its commitment to transforming how products are developed in the decentralised space.

During the Collabathon, participants not only built the dApp but also held networking sessions and workshops featuring industry experts, such as Joan from Injective Labs and Alex Radu, CEO of Astrarizon. These activities encouraged further collaboration, pushing the limits of what can be achieved in blockchain technology.

Helios Connect: Addressing User Fragmentation

Helios Connect is designed to solve the issue of user fragmentation by offering a single, unified identity for users across various blockchains. With an open-source design, the dApp enables easy cross-chain wallet verification and identity management. This creates a foundation for other decentralised applications like governance tools, tax solutions, and anti-fraud systems.

Helios Connect is now live on both the Injective and MultiversX blockchains and has already attracted active users. Its fully functioning MVP, developed in just 8 days, features smart contracts and a simple, user-friendly interface.
